Starwood Taps Disney Exec to run its hotel group

Its a sad day for us Disney purists out there 

Matt has been desribed as being a lot like Walt.  He was in the parks, not afraid to speak with CM's, and attended everything he possibly could to support his cast.  More important, he was very much responsible for the recent turnaround at Disneyland after the years of neglect it endured during the Harris/Pressler erra.

For those that are curious, Starwood owns the only 2 non-Disney resorts on Disney property, the Swan and Dolphin.
