Valleryfair Wild Thing Accident

edit:  I'm curious, are these the same trains as SD2K?  Wasn't a wheel bogy coming off what caused that ride to shut down and never reopen?  I find it rather scary that they are both Morgans.

Yep, SD2K chucked a wheel into the wave pool.  I bet Steel Force is getting a hard look tonight...

Steel Force was already closed for an unrelated lift hill issue.  Had been for about a week.  I suspect it will now remain closed longer, as will Steel Eel and Mamba (the latter at Worlds of Fun).

I actually find that funny as when I rode last year it seemed like it always almost stopped on the lift, hopefully the fied this problem and not give people the "Oh, No! Im stuck feeling!"

Nope.  Magnum is 100% Arrow. ;)  These are Morgan hyper coasters which aren't even really made any longer.  Superman Ultimate Escape down in Mexico was the oddball because the parts sat onsite for a few years before a dispute was resolved.

If this had happened anywhere else on the ride we'd have some dead people. Thank god it happened when the train was going 7mph instead of 74mph.
