Today we headed to Dorney for the Voodoo media day. The coaster itself actually opened on Saturday and we were able to ride twice that day, but today was the "official" opening. The event started late and didn't last as long as expected, but we were able to ride 13 times. Most times the train was only 1/4 full due to them not allowing rerides. Regardless, we're so happy to have one of our all-time favorite coasters within a few miles of our house and we'll be back to ride it many times this year.

Here's a couple pictures from the festivities today. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it operating at this point--when it was running, we were too busy riding it. I'll get some action shots of it the next time we visit the park.

Cedar Fair is retarded, but I am so happy to have this coaster close to home!

Looks awesome! I am so excited to ride Voodoo. It will be my first Inverted Impulse Coaster, since Wicked Twister was closed the few days I was at Cedar Point in 2005. I really like the stone wall with the logo and light up eyes. I can;t wait for next Friday- Coaster Maddness! Thanks for sharing the pictures Sue.

Cool Sue
This type of coaster would fit in good at any park
It would also look cool at the old Clemeton Jack Rabbit location

I haven't been on this one yet but was on the one at Cedar point and its very Fun.

I also just seen a TV commercial for the Voodoo
it started out with skulls and other stuff
looked good.

I will also be there Next Friday to ride

It was never being painted red and black. Where did you read/see that, Robb?

Rich will be at Coaster Madness, but I can't take off since I'm taking off the following Friday for Coaster Mania at CP. I might be there in the evening and for the night ERT.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Voodoo has been closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and today. Hopefully it'll be open tomorrow for those attending Coaster Madness.

my friends kid when there for a class trip and he said it was closed.

I may not be able to make it tomorrow to much work but I really want to get there
