I was updating the park events for the rest of the year today and came across this:

So it's a week off from International Talk Like A Pirate Day, so I don't know if it's related or not. And the water park is open that weekend suprisingly.

So is this just some random thing? Or is Six Flags actually planning something unique?

I don't know what they're doing. They've never been open later than labor day from what I remember. It's probably something to generate some good PR before next year
