Camden Park in West Virginia. Tips & Notes

(1/1)

Bubba Z:
This was a nice mom and pop kind of place.  Reminded me of  Clementon of old.

You will only need two hours here.   Parking is free after eight and Gate prices are $11 .

Big Dipper is fun in the Back.   They have a nice Haunted House Dark ride, some even consider it a credit.

Best whip ever!  Small compact and a lot of force. Average Bumper cars, Little Dipper had the most leg room out of any kiddie coaster.

If you wanna get wet , sit up front on the Log Flume. Last thing,  5 minute cycles on the Hot Cat (it's a Caterpillar ride)

Flyers were fun and if you know how can be snapped.

The chair lift looks kind of pointless, Sky Diver was down and we didn't have enough time to play Mini golf.  Which is totally brand new and looks nothing like the old course they had.

Overall, a  very friendly place, but don't be  Sham Wowed  when you walk in.  The place is over 106 years old.  I like that old charm feel , so I really liked it.

Please tell me you had a Pronto Pup! :)

Bubba Z:
I saw the sign on the way out.  It caught my interest,  but  Isn't it  just  another name for a corn dog.  They must be better since you asked!  Huh  ?

Btw,  you must of lost 60lbs Wow.  You look great... maybe that's why I wasn't sure if it was you or not. Sorry I didn't come up and say hi.

GADVwow:
Pronto Pups are the Cadillacs of corn dogs.  The coating is light and fluffy, never hard and crunchy.  They are delightful, and Camden Park has among the very best.

Thanks for the compliment! :)
