We were at the park saturday and were very sad to see chiller in pieces already. It is always sad to see a coaster go but we have had too many years of just robin with no batman and too many problems. I too took photos but they just didn't come out so great . It will be intresting to see how much they take down before the end of the season.

What I am wondering is why are they strategically taking Chiller down and not ripping it down like they did with Viper, the price of the steel doesnt change....

So that it may be more easily reassembled where it is going. .

And the price of steel does change, it has gone up A LOT, but I know what you mean, it doesn't change regardless of whether it is nicely taken down or ripped apart.

I like how they split the stairs in two pieces, and set those suckers down. It had me fooled for a while wondering if stairs were ever over there by the rolls...
