Let us know how it goes, Tom.  I bet they won't even be able to fill the trains during ERT with it being the same weekend as HWN.  I know the Hershey event we're going to on Memorial Day weekend has around 125 people registered.

Only a 42 person turnout.
Sun most of the day
Well we only had about an hour of light drizzle if that around 4pm
Many school kids today but really no long waits.

Got about 20 Storm Runner ERT rides in  one hour from 10:45 to 11:45 the crew had both sides running for only 22 riders. so it was non-stop.
then had to drive back home got back 2am and I was beat.

Stormruners got a kick when it takes off different then the gradual speed of KK.

Its better from what everyone is saying.
But the trains are nice
Racer is still a better ride and Comit running great

20+ rides in an hour on Stormrunner makes me fill like I did after 2 days of Kingda
like a hangover   must be the launch acceleration  or just the long day.
but worth it

Some Pics of Hershey Ace event 5/19  Not many people at this event about 42 registered
I guess everyone else was in Indiana at some other park  ? (Florida and Hershey in 10 days)
Got to the Park about 11am and the Lot was packed they had Graduations going on in the Stadiums and the Good Guys car show.
Weather was beautiful in the am and into the afternoon. \/

THere must have been every school kid within 40 miles at the park but lines not bad until late PM \/

Went straight to the back of the park and got 2 rides on Wildcat and 2 Lightning Racer both front and back
a short 5 minute wait  \/

Tinas Nephew and Me \/

New Boardwalk water park \/

We decided to do Stormrunner incase it rained out during the ERT - the longest line about 50 minutes\/

Then hit up the ACE lunch near StormRunner,  not many people\/

and a few good pics from the lunch area \/

100 years \/

MMMMM Pinball   I'm a big pinball freak / Champion  they made a movie after me Tommy  ;)
no time to play

We hit up a few other rides then then went over to Chocolate World  :D

MMMM Chocolate   No Tina count have it    to much calories  $29 we did leave with other candy

\/

Went back into the park and the Kids starting leaving \/

THe Tramps (the band) was there so we hit up the free show- they had people come up on stage Fun time

a few hours later meet at 10:45 (ride ops late) for our 1 hour StormRunner ERT
Only about 22 people to start out and about 14 people when it was finished both sides/trains non-stop about 22 rides in that hour I bailed out at 20 rides, I had to pee
  :-[

ok I'm done

I was there on the 12th. To me, Wildcat is still rough but the MF trains soften it quite a bit. Makes it a much better ride. I lost count of how many times i rode Comet that day. I sometimes wish i lived closer to HP, it takes a half tank of gas and 90 minutes just for me to get there.

Tom, did they let you stay on Storm Runner during the ERT?

During the WNYCC ERT last night, they wouldn't allow rerides and made everyone walk around.  It made no sense since they were sending out trains with 4 people on them.  We wound up leaving early since SR seemed rougher than usual to us and we didn't appreciate walking around each time for no reason.

Yes they let us stay in  the trains  :D
they ran both sides and we just stayed in our seats after the first few runs instead of getting up and changing seats (so they could just dispatch us out asap)

yes in that hour I got 20 rides, if we had to walk around it would have been half that
so I'm now glad I went last week.

how was the crowds ?

Well that makes no sense that they would allow it one week and not allow it the next.  It'll be interesting to hear what they do for the Coaster Buzz event this weekend.

Crowds were heavy, but we did everything we wanted and just sat and relaxed the rest of the time.
