And you should see the show in HD...Wow what a difference.
FIOS just got the Travel Channel in HD.  Almost scary how clear it looked.

I got the whole show in HD.  File is 6Gb!
I'll try to trim it down to see how big the Kingda Ka portion is.
But it does look beautiful!

Hmmm I will have to get innervision to record it in HD since he also has FIOS HD.  But we don't get the Travel HD until August 26th here. :(

Kind of an odd time of the year to get the water park munchies isn't it?

Oh well, this is the same channel that shows haunted houses in March lol

Thanks for the heads up Dan

Schliterbahn : Master Blaster, Dragons Revenge, and  Boogie Bahn were featured.

Wet n Wild:  40 Slides.  Disco H20, The Black Hole,  Brain Wash, and Bomb Bay.

Edmonton Mall, Canada. World Waterpark :  Sky Screamer slide and Bungee Jumping over the largest indoor wave pool.

Six Flags White Water,  Atlanta GA:   40 Slides.  1/4 mile lazy river , million gallon wave pool, Tornado slide, Cliff Hanger slide @9 stories high.

Hurricane Harbor Six Flags,  Arlington Texas: Mega wedgie ( Half Pipe slide)

Kalahari , Sandusky Ohio: Flow rider, racing slides, Zip coaster, pro slide bowl and swim up bar.

Last Stop, Disney Blizzards Beach.  A  Ski Resort themed water park.  Summit Plummit, enough said.

There was also a block of extreme coaster shows on the other day.
About 5 hours worth.  And Coastin Steve was in most of them!
Boy was he young on the one that had Nitro.

Blizzard Beach looks amazing.  As usual Disney does it in style!
Wet n' Wild also had many interesting creations.

LOL. No problemo.

Hey, thanks for the recap Bubba. I'm in the middle of watching Extreme Water Parks. Wet n' Wild and Schliterbahn look nuts! WnW added allot of theming since '89 with a light show in the 'ole Black Hole and enclosing the old Riptide Rapids action river. Sea World built the park in '77 and it's been reinventing the water park ever since.

Schliterbahn is three parks in one. It has an older section with action rivers using water from the river that runs through the park. The park on Long Island look beautiful and has a slide with animatronics in the queue!

This week's Travel Channel specials:

THURS 12/4:
     @2pm- Fan's Guide to Walt Disney World
     @3pm- Disney Splurge
     @4pm- Disney on a Dime
     @5pm- WDW Resort: Behind the Scenes
     @8pm- Disney Holiday Magic

FRI 12/5
     @12am- Disney Holiday Magic

SAT 12/6
     @11am- Extreme Terror Rides

SUN 12/7
     @11:30am- Passport to Great Weekends: Orlando
     @12:00pm- Disney Holiday Magic
Prepare to weather the storm!

They will probably be on 10 more times over the winter.
The Travel Channel does tend to reply things quite often.
Don't cancel your Dollywood trip to sit in front of the TV!
