Help me choose a day to visit GADV please!

Hi all,
i can only visit the park at the weekend of 23 (sat) - 24 (sun) of september.
it is the weekend BEFORE fright fest begins...

My original thought was going on the 24th since it's sunday and i think it might be a bit less crowded being a school day the next day (am i right??)
But then - the park announced a "coca cola Hispanic concert" being held that day 
Now i don't know what is better (or worse) going on the concert day or on saturday whice is probably really crowded??
other things to note:
Friday the 22 is when the park open only for season pass holders

So mybe because most locals will be there on friday i better go on sat and try avoiding the concert crowd??
Do these concerts bring in more crowds usually??

What would you've choose to do?
i'm coming for far far away and want to get on as much rides as i can (i'm concidering going gold flash pass..)

That is a tough call.  I personally have preferred Sundays this time of year.  Even during Fright Fest.  The concerts do tend to bring a larger crowd but they also tend to clear the midways during the actual concert allowing for even shorter lines.

I would shoot for Sunday and based upon seeing the parking lot and how crowded the gates are, decide on the flash pass then.  For a once a year visit, the q-bot is the way to go if it seems crowded.

edit:  2 things - first, thanks for the heads up on the concert since I missed that on our calendar.  Second, it goes without saying that you need to track the weather and make the obvious better choice.

i'm also heard KK is down - do you think they re open i a week or two??
As i heard they also open ET really late,i guess i will need the gold Qbot thingy anyway no?
Do you think it will be worth the extra cash?

one last thibg - is there still a coca cola cans buy 1 get 1 promo going on these time of year?

The coke can promo expired at the begining of the month.  But there are plenty ofther Buy One Get One deals in the local papers...you just have to look for them in the coupon sections on the weekends.  I probably have a few in my newspaper pile.  I actually had a NY Times placed on my driveway compliments of Six Flags last weekend with the coupon on the front.

You can always decide to get Q-Bot later if it seems crowded.  The only thing is...once you get the Q-Bot Gold you will always want to get it.
