(8/16/06) After sitting silent since it closed in 2002, Ghost Town in the Sky has new owners who plan on reopening the park in May 2007. They will spend over $4 million to get the park up and running again including a new chair lift and refurbished inclined railway.
This is a unique park as it's on top of a mountain they use a Ski lift and tram to get to the top.
It has a OD Hopkins Steel looping coaster on the side of the hill named Red Devil.
THis park is known for it's great views.
Less then an hour from Dollywood so next year if in the area stop for a visit.
