Six Flags to change NYSE ticker symbol to 'SIX'

NEW YORK, May 26 (Reuters) - Theme park operator Six Flags Inc. <PKS.N> said on Friday it is changing its stock symbol to "SIX" as part of changes it was making in its 45th anniversary year, but will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange.

The company, which is restructuring its business under new management, said the change will become effective at the start of trading on June 5.
