Makes you wonder if they'll continue allowing backpacks on their coasters since that is all that caused this to happen.

Completely off-topic but a similar event to this almost happened in Texas on the New Texas Giant. One of the Ride-ops heard a weird noise while the train was leaving and they hit the E-stop button, the mechanics later found out a wheel was due to be replaced and the Ride-op is getting ridiculed by Texas media because of his decision to play it safe.

It's people who say screw safety that really piss me off.

There's no winning in the media. If someone doesn't have all of the limbs necessary to ride according to it's SOP, and you have signage posted...you're a jerk and should know better. A week later, someone doesn't have all of the limbs necessary to ride, you let them ride, they fall off...and you're a jerk and should know better.
