Busch Gardens exclusivity contract with B&M
« on: June 29, 2011, 04:45:13 PM »

This is the link to the thread I shouted about. I'm not sure if this is 100% true, but it does seem very coincidental to the point where it might be true.

This also serves as a good discussion on SFA's plans for their 2012 coaster, TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE!

If it were true, what is wrong with a Intamin project at SFA?  Honestly, I see B&M being to expensive for a park that small anyway.

Yeah, B&M isn't known for being the cheapest builder out there...
I always thought for how small the area was that the log flume occupied that it could make a good spot for an Intamin Zacspin, or one of those halfpipe things...

I remember hearing about this deal. It was only for dive machines.

First of all, a B & M would never fit in Skull Mountains position, so a zacspin is not a very bad guess.  Or maybe they leave that are blank and put the coaster somewhere else, god knows they need space.

Well there apparently is one for all of North America on Dive Machines... So that's well out of the question. I believe it won't be anything major, probably a eurofighter. Or if it is even a new coaster, they could be getting something on the ride rotation program...

A Eurofighter would make much much more sense then a Dive Machine at SFA...Could even be a family coaster for all we know

SeaWorld/Busch has no such exclusive contract with B&M. No one else has decided to pony up the cash for one (they are expensive if you want to build one worth going on).

A small, used B&M coaster from another park for SFA makes even more sense...

Yeah they usually run about 20-25 mil. No one else in the US wants them probably because of that.
