To each their own because honestly, I can't stand steel supported wooden coasters. Hellcat was "fun" for one ride but that was it. Then again, that is probably why I don't consider myself a true enthusiast

LOL No, I'm just a wimp that can't stand being sore for a week after riding a coaster. I've become more of a "park enthusiast" as I've gotten older.

I had the most severe muscle cramps after riding Hellcat in '06. I mean I could barely walk with a very severe limp

El Toro is totally diferent then all other woodies because its like, the 'next generation' of Wooden Coasters! Its like the Kingda Ka, of woodies! Not to mention, its banked, has lapbars, and sets a record of height for America. Now that I think of it, we are so lucky to live in a place with coasters like this!

LOL you've noticed that to huh? It's a lost cause. We'll never all agree. It's just fun to disagree sometimes. I think a ton of greeat discussion comes out of it to like learning more about rides many of have never been on.

Anyway, Toro is still probably one of the best coaster investments they have made at gadv in a long time and ultimately, that is what's important there. The GP eat the thing up and the positive word of mouth has kept it strong for 3 years straight now.

Even when they announced El Toro, they stated that it was the second largest coaster in America, third in the world at the time.
