Great Photos Bubba !
Hopefully you can see the Nor'Easter from the bridge with the new paint job.

What they really need are NEW waterslides at Moreys Pier !

And the golden nugget! I wouldnt mind hitting up the go karts then hitching a ride on that thing. That would be awesome. Just too bad im not going to Wildwood this year. The 3rd year in a row got boring because i was just bored with it kind of. This year is hershey for me. :D

Overlord, I dont know if you are aware, but they actually plan to pick the entire structure up and moving it to the mariners landing pier somehow.  Should be pretty amazing if they can do it

Thanks for the pics. I am glad they are keeping up with the GW in the offseason, as when I last rode it in 2002, it was extremely rough. Since then I have heard they retracked it a few times, but it is nice to see them keep doing it.

Once again, good work.

AWESOME photo update bubba.  This is probably one of the first winters I haven't had a reason to visit the Jersey shore so thanks for bringing back the photos :)

Nitro, believe it or not, Great White tracked amazingly well just last summer.  I agree, it wasn't being maintained very well in the 02' -03' range but they seem to be keeping up with it now :)

The one time I did ride it last summer it wasn't that bad. But then again, I thought Not'Easter wasn't that bad actually.

^Nor'Easter is always very smooth for an SLC, and by far the best SLC out there IMO (never ridden Jubilee Odysey, but out of the clones, Nor'Easter is the best).

Its strange when you consider where Nor'Easter is built.  Between the sand and the ocean air, you would think it would be worse than the rest.  I agree, its actually "almost" fun sometimes lol.

Great White seems to change drastically based on the weather so maybe it was just my luck as well.  I can see how a wooden coaster can be more easily affected by the elements.  At least it hasn't turned in the MB Hurricane

So as you can see they removed the one toll in each direction so you pay 70 cents one time and avoid the backs up at each toll which is a smart move. Hopefully the whole GSP is this way now.

I am suprised the Skyscraper still has its things attached on the end. The one in Seaside has it removed. Did the one in Wildwood every operate during the summer? When I was there in June it was closed and I was pissed because it is amazing!

Nor Easter is one of my favorites.. partially because of the turbulent ride you get, actually.  Though i do agree, it is much much smoother than the rest

GW was running amazingly the past 2 summers wade I do agree.  Probably as best as it ran when it first opened.  I do remember that summer when it was a bit rough but its very well maintained now.

Bubba, i do believe they did the same thing up north with that too.  And than can i ask you.. why did you take that way?!  lol.  I always take 55 down, into 347 and 47?  Something like that, theres alot of routes.  I hate taking the toll roads down.

lastly.. did you notice any work on the nugget?! lol

From Deptford, we always use 55 South to 47 (Delsea Dr.) to the 347 bypass and then back onto 47 for just a little longer.   Then again, we have family in Cape May Courthouse but it still seems to work well for running over to Wildwood and usually takes 1 hour -1:15 tops.

Than again.. you get some mean traffic sometimes..

Easy for me I just take the parkway all the way down to the Wildwood exit. It is great seeing the Nor'Easter and the Ferris Wheel on the skyline.

How in the heck? Why are they going to put it on that pier? Why not wild wheels? They can take out junkyard and then move it to where that is. It would be much better and less crowded over at wild wheels IMO.

Edit: I would also like to add that zombie world was the worst $12 i ever spent on anything. I would have much rather spent it on go-karts then that stupid thing.

It would a longer move moving the whole structure down to Spencer Ave. Pier (Wild Wheels) than to any of the other two surrounding piers. I believe they would not piece it apart and re-build it since it would take too much time and money rather than bring the whole structure over in one piece.

The good old somers point toll plaza. Only 5 minutes from my house !

Nick, I was in AC that's the only reason I took toll roads. I did hear sounds of welders,  but I really couldn't figure where they were coming from. Could have been anything, but the thought of them working on Nugget would be great news , but again I have no clue!

Could have Just been this they were working. By the time I got there, they could have went to lunch ?

Last Shot, see you again in the summer WW.

Wait a sec... really?  My grandparents lived right around the corner from that toll plaza for almost 30 years lol.  Thats how I ended up spending so many summers in OC.

I think she lived on Rutgers Ave as all of the streets in that area seemed to be named after schools if I remember correctly.

I know I know... off topic... sorry guys lol

O.T.
I'm about 5 minutes via Garden State Park way, or 10 minutes from Rutgers Ave. on local roads.
