Does Knoebels usually do press releases???I just find it interesting the difference in the construction pictures for this and for something like El Toro or Tatsu. Much lower tech.
I wonder how the layout will be on this??Now, I really got to make it out there this summer...
I was hoping that Dick and Co would buy one or both of the Schwarzkopf's from SFAW, but this flying turns coaster will be great for the park. Its going to fit in perfectly with the vintage atmosphere that the park already has.

From talking on the phone to a friend who works for Knoebels, thefirst bent was erected this past Fri 8-) They are still deciding on how thick the Cypress layer is going tobe, either 3/4 or 1 inch The Cypress layer will be tongue and groove and they're considderinghaving the T&G off center in the boards thickness so that more wear tothe rolling layer can happen before replacement will be needed. While nothing is being promissed or official they want to have itrunning by the end of the season 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
