I dont know how I will be able to get this weekend off, but I'm going to do my best. I might just get Saturday night and Sunday off if nothing else. Regardless, it's worth $39.

Yeah, that sucks about Chiller...I hate to see it like that. Hey, so we should get a group picture or something ok. I'll call you later!

Last year around that same time we got a House about 400 feet from the boardwalk for $750 for a week.
they since sold the property.

But I'm looking for the best place to stay for Saturday Night if anyone knows of a good deal

sounds awesome. I probably won't be able to make it since I don't know anyone who has a house in the area.

rent a room
or there are many campgrounds along route 9 that are very cheap

but one night on the weekend in July is about $100 give or take near the boardwalk
but the cost of the event averages it all out.
and NO DRIVING once there.

I just paid $90 to fill up my truck tonight at $3.82 a gallon
one gas station raised the price almost 20 cents in one day from $3.85 to $4.05  :o

I love taking the train :D. I'll have to pass on this mostly because I'd feel bad hanging out in wildwood without the kids for a whole weekend.  Just like I do when I swing by disney world when I'm there on my own lol

I won't be able to go. We are working 4 days this week and 6 days next week. I'm not going to try to explain the recycling schedule to y'all but it's the only way we could work this out.  >:(
Are you ready to send those commies running back to their mommies?

I have successfully signed up! Sorry you can't make it Dave! I'll be sure to give the Great White a few rides for ya!

Toms, I have no idea about hotels. I just know I'm staying at my house since it's pretty close. I'd offer my floor, but... ummm.... I cant? :)

I called about 20 places
the "policy" most hotels/motels use  is to not take any weekend advanced reservations for one night.
they want a 3 night minimum.

they all say to call the night before or the same day to see if there is an opening.
which after a few calls I'm sure there will be

I should check the ACE ecribb boards

that's for mostly the motels near the beach
when you go away from the beach or out of town its much cheaper

I want to stay in walking distance so as not to pay for parking driving etc.
but there are many hundreds of places to stay I will just call the day of on my drive down or before i leave for that one night.
or I can stay at a campground in a trailer for free down the road.

I just hope the weather is nice

but if anyone has a room for rent and wants to have 3 hot girls and me let me know.

Not yet
I will be making calls again tomorrow and Friday. maybe try today

But they all say Call on Saturday to see if any openings
So if i don';t get a place by then will be on the phone all mourning sat.

You can get a room away from the boardwalk but I want to be in walking distance.

Matt... you might want to talk with Frank. He's been calling me all week asking where to stay, he may have found something for less than $100 about 25 minutes away.

Yes you can find many places just out of town.
I can stay for free 15 miles away but with the early ERT, afternoon chit chat, the evening Dinner  and Tina and my sisters basking in the Sun on the Beach I need to stay in town.

the funny thing is my other sister and her inlaws have a place (a block from the beach) but they are packed and one of them prego. so they have no room for us  :'(

call the day of or Friday night

I know people that own housing in Wildwood but they already have them booked up for this week.
I should have bought a multi unit back in the 90's for $70k

Will be there again in mid August all week

The rooms can be found if you call late tonight or even better early tomorrow
My sister has called a bunch of places and she found one for $110 but needs to call back later tonight to see if its not rented
there are some now that can be had for $159
but the tax is around 14% (resort tax) so keep that in mind
also she found a place for 2 night Sat. Sun for $200  pool etc.

I can post a list of places later tonight that is about a block from the boardwalk
or PM me
