I think it is a rather nifty name for a coaster; although it doesn't exactly sound like a woodie name.

^^^ Those pics of the park in the snow are awesome!

I really want to get back to SFStL... It was a great park, and possibly my favorite SF park.

Yeah, that sucks about Chiller...I hate to see it like that. Hey, so we should get a group picture or something ok. I'll call you later!

Obviously you didn't grow up in the Evil Knievel era.
I'll never forget the hype for his Snake River Canyon jump!

Looks like a fine ride...Opening a little late though.
I thought the new Six Flags was planning better?

The story that Snyder and Shapiro tell these days is that they plan rides to open on Memorial Day or shortly before.  I remember that they bitterly criticized Mr. Story and his regime for late openings and for blaming weather for shortfalls in attendance.

Wait til you hear about the new one SFMM is getting next year, it's called Evil Knievel: Snake River Canyon Jump. It will feature a first of it's kind element where there is a big gap in the track and very large ditch underneath.
Are you ready to send those commies running back to their mommies?

No according to my source, they're going to strap a rocket motor to the back of the train.

ACME brand?

As a matter of fact yes. The designer of this coaster is a new one called: "Wile E. Coyote".
