Opening Day!!

I just noticed on Sixflags.com that opening day is April 5.  It is on the Great Adventure home page, last button the right under "See you in 2008".  Not sure if this is old news since I had not been on the web site in a while.  Only 4 months left!!!!!

Count me out. I'm not too sure when I'll make my one visit but it will be when I can get on a water ride.

I know one person you won't see on the Log Flume opening day, me.  I hate getting wet even when it is hot out.

Here is a thought . Usually they have the season pass holders day on Easter Sunday and since it is so early in March this year and the park is going to open in April have we lost that day also? Just wondering what everyones thoughts on that is.

The really haven't mentioend any "Season Pass Holder Days" for the 2008 season.
These days used to be mentioned in the list of benefits to buying a Season Pass, but not this season.



March 29th and March 30 are reserved for prospective/current Six Flags investors to visit the park.
pcman maybe you can use your shares of SIX for this benefit!

I bought more when it was at $2 and wanted to buy even more but now its been up around $2.80
so maybe on the dip.

Ken, they are holding off on the benefits because of the new season pass tiers.  I would expect that announced when the higher prices kick in for the "preium" passes.  All passes purchased now through vey early January are automatically premium passes.

I still wonder how this is going to play out for us ? We get our passes through the master card program . I wonder if there will be an upcharge for us with the premium passes ?

I never looked closely at it but the 2008 Pass that I purchased before the park closed for the season does say "2008 Premium Season Pass" on it.  And on the back it states "Premium pass benefits are only valid at the park shown on the front of this card."  We will just have to wait and see what the "benefits" are.
