The Dark Knights Joker is Dead

The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams -- they separated in September, 2007. He plays The Joker in the upcoming Batman film, "The Dark Knight" and is perhaps best known for his groundbreaking role as Ennis in "Brokeback Mountain."

That last pic is wrong on so many levels, but it's funny.

It does but maybe its just me, but it looks like theres a lot of leftover space from MTWe and Chiller....

My husband has been out there at least once a week so far. He has said the same thing. I really don't bother asking him (meaning my husband) to get information from the construction crews any more since SF posts their own construction updates. I am sure Wade will give us the scoop when and, if he hears anything.

New Attraction Debuts in Three Six Flags Parks Late Spring 2008

Official video and Pics    www.prnewswire.com/mnr/sixflags/32174/

NEW YORK, March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Six Flags, Inc. (NYSE: SIX) released today key thematic elements of the highly anticipated 'The Dark Knight Coaster,' an indoor roller coaster based on Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming movie The Dark Knight. Featuring DC Comics' characters Batman and The Joker, the $7.5 million ride will open at three parks this spring -- Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ; Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL; and Six Flags New England in Agawam, MA.

'The design and construction of this ride will combine the excitement of The Dark Knight movie with the thrill of a roller coaster -- merging the two worlds into one unforgettable experience for our guests,' said Mike Antinoro, Six Flags Executive Vice President of Entertainment and Marketing. 'The Dark Knight film is a powerful follow-up to Batman Begins and we expect The Dark Knight Coaster to be a can't miss event for all audiences this summer as well.'

'We're excited to partner with Six Flags to deliver an experience for Batman fans like never before,' said Karen McTier, Executive Vice President of Domestic Licensing and Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. Consumer Products. 'The Dark Knight Coaster will give fans a firsthand experience, immersing them with the sights, sounds and thrills of crime fighting in Gotham City.'

'The Dark Knight Coaster will offer both fans of the film and of Batman a thrilling new way to experience the characters and their world,' says Cheryl Rubin, SVP Brand Management, DC Comics.

More than just a ride, The Dark Knight Coaster is an adventure that utilizes storytelling, physical movement, video, sound and special effects to bring guests a one-of-a-kind dark ride thrill. As part of the experience, park guests will see, hear and feel the action of the movie the moment they enter the ride queue line, as they are transformed into citizens of Gotham City -- caught in the middle of a city under siege and torn apart by The Joker. Guests will then board a Gotham City rail car and careen through demented hallways of twists, turns, unseen hills and chaotic images, and continue to be tormented by The Joker as they are thrust onto the battlefield of good vs. evil. Will The Dark Knight save them in time?

The attraction will introduce new, customized footage featuring District Attorney Harvey Dent (as portrayed by Aaron Eckhart), produced and shot specifically for The Dark Knight Coaster. The ride will also incorporate audio and visual elements from the film. The opening of The Dark Knight Coaster will be perfectly timed to coincide with the debut of The Dark Knight which opens July 18th.

And find a SEND button.  Perhaps POST would make more sense?  Especially if it then added a thread to the side where others could actually SEE the comments?

I never noticed that it said "Send".  Selective reading I guess.  I never found a problem with the comments being under since in the articles it's supposed to emulate a news article, and most news sites have the comments under the  story.  The only thing I don't like is that you can't edit your post, forcing you to either leave a mistake, or delete everything and submit it again.  But, it is faithful to the news article feel that TinyPortal was going for when they made that feature.

The Movie in IMAX will be a totally new thing, If you plan on seeing this movie this looks like the best way

THE DARK KNIGHT: THE IMAX EXPERIENCE, from Warner Bros. Pictures, will feature four sequences filmed with IMAX? cameras.

This marks the first time ever that a major feature film has been even partially shot using IMAX cameras, marking a revolutionary integration of the two film formats.

The follow-up to the action hit BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne. In the new film, Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.

THE DARK KNIGHT: THE IMAX EXPERIENCE will be distributed exclusively by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Not sure how they usually construct indoor coasters, but it seems odd to me that they're enclosing the building before any of the coaster is assembled. Any insight on this?
