While it's nice to have an original name, I hate the name VooDoo and absolutely hate the logo. Even though I hardly wear coaster shirts, I'd never wear anything with that ugly logo on it!

Sadly, i am going to miss opening day. Our 5th wheel trailer is going to be moved from the repair shop to the campground then, and i've been told i can't do anything else that weekend. I have to help my dad position it

So when should we have an Updates invasion of Dorney?
I get free tickets to Dorney and Hershey through work in late June/early July every year... I will wait to go there until then. I can usually get up to 3 or 4 for each park. Usually I stock up on Hershey and just get 2 Dorney. Anyone interested in these freebies that I've traveled with before, PM me. We can discuss that way.

I don't see why they wouldn't... That was the other park my jobs always gets tickets for but I never bothered to get any since I always have a season pass.

^If you have a CF pass the event is free.
Quit debating and just buy one!

yes that is what I'm debating
$150 ?
just wondering if I will be hitting all the Cedar parks this year
I know Kings Dominion has a new coaster
Not sure if I will get out to CP this season
Dorney can be had on the cheap but with its new coaster I may be there more often
who else has one on these boards ?
I have to check what the perks are at Dorney or PKD
Canada's Wonderland with its 15 coaster is somewhat close to Waldameer
HHmmm
maybe a Hershey, Degrassos,Lakemount,Kennywood, Waldameer, Canada's Wonderland, Knobels, Dorney trip ?
Edit:
Just looked Parking is free with Dorney pass so that a +
Rob now you got me thinking

I won't be buying a CF pass this year, can't afford it and I don't really plan on traveling outside of PA,NJ, New England this year in order to save $$. Canada's Wonderland does sound tempting, I guess I should get a passport just in case someone decides to talk me into going there.
I can't take an entire week to do the trip you mentioned. I will be doing day trips to Hershey and Dorney most likely at least once this season. Del Grosso's, Lakemont, Idlewild and Waldameer are all musts for me this year though since I wont be back up this way for a while after this summer is over and I want to pick any/all credits in the area before I'm gone.

yes was looking how far
2 many days in a row are very costly in missing work
if I was passing a park i would do a few hours if I had a pass/discount
I do plan on doing Wildwood and Dorney events this year and the usual local day trips
and of course Clementon weekly with my pass.
if ACE midatlantic region has an event or Volcanomania maybe hit it up if its cheap.
still early

^I'm going to have to skip both events... I might be able to swing one of the 2 days at Wildwood, but just to hang out, not for the event. I'll be down there a couple of times for sure, even if it's just to hang out and play some Fascination.

the WIldwood event I was trying to get a week (like we had at this time last year) a block from Moreys but they sold the place.
So we may stay at a Local Campground that has a Nice furnished cabin like only $50 a night.
if anyone else needs/wants to stay let me know
I been going to wildwood since I was a baby ( the 60's )
and I never played in the Fascination room
i will next visit as it is fun

I was just over by Dorney and it looks like the track should easily be completed within the next few days. From what I could see, it looks like there's only 3 pieces of track left to go up. It makes the park skyline look very impressive. From the MacDonald's across the street, it looks higher than Steel Force!
