If behemoth was spelled right maybe the thread would be more respected.

Lol, Never even noticed I'll fix it now. Weird how I never saw benemoth until you pointed it out.

My large shoutbox idea has finally become a reality with this thread.

Isn't that the AV Matt and Canada's Tree Fort thread? ;)

Tooo funny. Probably the first time a five yr old coaster gets a thread made about it being new.

I rode racer once and it was dark. I have no idea what happened but I did find it OK.

ps: Mobious... respect dat!

So would you have to ride Racer all the way around for it to count as a cred or does it just count as a 1/2 a cred if you rode one side?

Kennywood's Racer is the perfect family woodie. It has some great pops of air, but isn't too extreme, and the closeness and racing aspect make it extra fun. I always thought every park should have something similar.

One of my fondest ERT memories is from that ride in 1991. We were passing balloons back and forth to see how many passes we could get each time around.

Unfortunately today the operations are really slow due to "modern safety measures" so it's hard to get lots of rides on it, but I would love to have ERT on it again!

I count it as one coaster.

20 years ago it was practical to have a stuffed animal ride with you. Those giant bananas and teddy bears would make GREAT riding partners for photos LOL.

I agree that it's a great family coaster. But that isn't what I like.

You may be reading too much into what I meant by "family coaster," I'd count CP's Blue Streak as a family coaster. I'm talking mid-level thrill, not a kiddie coaster like the PTC woodies.

No, I agree that blue streak is a family coaster. It's more fun than racer to me, but it's not in my top ten by any means.

In fact if you look at where I have blew streak, it's in the midst of a bunch of family coasters. And Ka, but I don't really like Ka.

Only reason why I got Blue Streak in my top 10 is because I've only been on 20 woodies. Don't get me wrong it's still decent fun but it's not great, more fun than my experience on Mean Streak that's for sure.

Well Matt I would tell you it was good if imabadperson MARTIN! didn't close up shop with out telling me cuz it rained a lot before noon. 1-5 absolutley beautiful out. I show up at 5:15 for the 2 1/2 hr $10 special to find an empty lot and gates locked. Needless to say I was pretty upset. My Waldameer day feel through last weekend and this was my back up plan. So me and the Mrs. spent 2 hours at the American side of the falls. Very nice time. DAMN MARTIN!

Ugh. I've heard of similar experiences from other people. Martin's likes to close on sunny days due to bad weather. Lame.

I get why they closed yesterday. I just wish they would respect their own hours. Yeah it would have cost them money to stay open on a day like that. But its bad PR to close. It was beautiful when I showed up.
