Screamscape has heard a rumor that Clementon Park may have been sold to a new owner. Along with this possible news are other rumors claiming that the new owner may actually try to bring the Jack Rabbit back to life if it?s still financially feasible. Other rumors for future projects involve an expansion of the waterpark, upgraded infrastructure and more from a series of capital improvements that would come over the next 3-4 years. Anyone know more?
Hugh Bleemer has purchased Clementon Park. He wants to spend $5 million every year for 3 years to fix up the amusement park and waterpark. Next year, the entire parking lot and park will be repaved, and a new waterpark addition will be added.
-Jack Rabbit will need 1.5 million to run again-Water park expansion some rides will be removed for this-New buildings to replace old ones-20 Million to be spent on the park-Not sure if this was the sale price but I know it was up for sale 2 years ago for 15 million.J2 will have work done in the off season.J2 May open in the Next few days after getting work done on the 2nd hill. Call before you go if in the area for the ACE Preservation event.Sale to be finalized in the next 10 days
From Jswiga (Medusa ? ) posted at another site I will edit this if you likeClementon Park 2008 Ok so if you havent heard yet, the park is under new ownership.First, it is not Hugh Bleemer from Chase. The company that owns the park is Adrenaline Family Entertainment. There is a gentleman named Hue, but it is not Bleemer.Alot of changes for 2008:1. most likely J2 WILL be trimmed as well as the second hill completely reprofiled.2. The falling star and the chaos will be removed to make way for a new family water attraction by whitewater west called a rain fortress.(similar to the play structure at hershey but the next size smaller.) with 10 slides and over 450 interactive water objects3. alot of money will be spent on beautification of the park, its facilities, the parking lot, the buildings, the games, and its staff,as well as marketing. They have alot of big plans and see alot of potential in our small Clementon Park.GET READY!Also the season will be extended from 76 operating dyas in 2007 to 113 in 2008 including full time in june and weekends in september and october for Halloscreams!Season pass prices for next year will be very cheap and competitive.big things for 2008-2010!
Its a friggin shame theyre trimming that thing, but I am a firm believer that sooner or later its going to tear itself apart otherwise.
