Breakwater Beach(Waterworks)

Yesterday I went to the boardwalk in Seaside Heights to go play some arcade games. Well, as I was driving past Breakwater Beach I noticed the big 50ft. slide gone!!! They tore it all up and removed everything. I was so dissapointed because this was such a thrill when I was younger!

Now I ask, what is going there? I will be sure to go back and get some pics to show you guys and I will report on anything new..

50 ft sounds pretty out dated.  Maybe theyre looking towards thier future.

I doubt its a Tornado, theres not much room there for one. It's just a shame they took that down, that was the best thrill I had when I was a kid.

They have to be replacing it with something! Jenkinson's just bought that I think last season and I am pretty sure that entire area is going to get an eventual complete overhaul. I love Star Jet but, I would LOVE to see a local Pier get something a little more adult in the coaster department. I know i'll never see a Great White 15 minutes from my front door.

The owner of the arcade I work at owns both Lucky's and Big Top in Seaside.  When I see him tommarrow I'll see if he has heard any buszz cause for some reason he always knows whats going on.

Well today I went over to Seaside Heights and Ortley Beach with my girlfriend since it was so nice out today. While I was there, I brought my camera and took shots of the piers and of the waterpark being worked on. They ripped down more slides and have started work on footers and I wonder what is going on? Well here are the pictures...

Here is a look up Seaside Park beach...

A look at Funtown Pier from the beach...

lol overlord.. we have something similar in OC, and its not all that wonderful either.

Wow i'm so not used to shore points that look like that.  Being a southerner, Ive been around OC and wildwood most of my life.  Although im sure its nice to have something little and less crowded to resort to.

I just love how you refer to it as "we have something similar"

That new wild mouse was operating in the summer when I was down there, but i didn't bother to ride because it wasn't worth the money.  That looper is a little rough, but thank god its not that long.
