I might peek at that.  People seem to disappear from Loopt
Peep the concept, you've got progress, you've got congress
We protest in hopes they confess, just proceed on your conquest
I ain't got no gavel, I ain't finna fight nobody battle
I just wanna be free, I ain't finna be nobody's chattel

I'm currently on the Verizon network and Ive had several phones over the last 2 yrs, these include the Voyager, Juke, Q9m, Pearl, Flip-Shot, & the Storm. As of right now I'm sporting my favorite phone; the Pearl. This phone is awesome, the suretype keyboard is flawless, battery life is excellent, BB email services are amazing! I have mine loaded with the G1 theme...

Just in case anyone was wondering the Storm was a huge letdown, leggy interface, random bugs, etc...

So one of my brothers tells me last night that he has a ATT Tilt just laying around his house and they he might sell it to me. While I do have T-Mobile, obviously we can unlock it and it would be a great pick up if he sells it to me for a decent price. However, the thing that makes me angry is that even though it shares one of the two frequencies for T-Mobiles 3G network, it still won't connect I have read. So now it leads me to ask, do I spend the money on the Tilt and get alot of great features and applications, or do I just hold onto my T-Mobile Shadow which I have modded to have WM 6.1 and an HTC Diamond look until November when I can pick up an Android?

Typing from my curve :). Easily the best phone I've ever had. I'm going to get the G1 theme right now so thanks for the heads up lol. As for the storm, I also have a few co-workers with it that had various issues but recent releases have improved it drastically. My brother just got one a month ago and it's been perfect so far. Now if I could just get off verizon to use my slingbox. I loved verizon until they pushed their monopoly (vcast) on me.

I have a TILT  or used one for a while (its for sale)
I now have the HTC ATT Fuze

I still have the TILT and i have it unlocked
and I have a custom rom on it which makes it faster

but you should have no problems using the tilt on T mobile

but you may want to hold off on "buying" a new phone because T Mobile is getting the HTC TOUCH PRO 2
which is the successor to the Fuze (which replaced the tilt)
As we've been writing about, T-Mobile looks to be getting it first, with a June/July launch

The HTC TOUCH PRO 2 is the most advanced phone to date and won't be out on ATT till maybe the fall or later

http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=7289

here is a picture of it on the left with the Diamon 2 on the right
the
TOUCH PRO 2 has a big 3.8" WVGA screen
Diamond 2 has a 3.2" screen
FUZE has a 2.8 VGA
TILT has a 2.8" QVGA screen \/

here is a video of my TILT going 567 MPH home from Vegas
the TILT and all these other phone have REAL built in GPS not the internet GPS so you can use the GPS for free anywhere even on a JET 45000 feet up
and use some free apps  I have many of them

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nErezFtvBhw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nErezFtvBhw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>e

here's my TILT on a Southwest flight  no internet but GPS always works even inside the tube \/
you should see the GPS on my Laptop on the plane

I know about the TP2 coming to T-Mobile. However, I really don't know how much more I can take with Windows Mobile. I like how Android is very competitive with the iPhone OS with all its applications and alot of smooth functions. Windows Mobile has been a great step up from the Sidekick OS but I am ready for something else it seems.

The HTC is slick looking, I had an older version which broke twice due to the sliding keyboard, Now it's a paper weight.

Hold it up to the windows for even about 5 minutes and it should connect I did it with my 2 phones and a few Laptops see below

OK for all you people like myself that keep changing phones and backing up your contacts and favorites to your SD card and PC
here is a awesome FREE service from Microsoft where you can backup everything on your phone to a new service called
It's almost like active synce and Outlook but LIVE and no cables.

MyPhone

it syncs all your  (in the background daily automatically or Manual)
- Contacts
- Photos
- Messages
- Tasks / appointments / calendar
- MUSIC
- Documents

then you can log in with your PC to edit, organize delete etc.
this is great especially for people with CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint who don't have a SIM card and need to have the Store transfer your files
sign up today IT'S FREE

http://myphone.microsoft.com

- it’s free
- it syncs contacts, calendar appointments, tasks, photos, videos, text messages, music, and documents
- it lets you easily share photos and videos you’ve taken on your cell phone from the web
- it offers 200 MB of free storage; not a bad number, but not exactly stellar, either
- it syncs your phone with the web automatically, once per day, or manually, whenever you want

HTC Hero is amazing, probably coming to Sprint and AT&T since T-Mo is a bunch of douches and wants to only promote their myTouch3Gay.
