Nice touch for Mothers Day ....

Well went to the park for mothers day and upon pulling in we thought "what a mistake" it looked packed. Well I can't tell you where all the people were but the lines were amazingly lighter then i had figured upon.

More on the nice touch for mothers day. Upon entering the park moms were given a stuffed flower with a coup. for buy one game get one free. It was a nice gesture from the park. 

On to wait times KK was 30 min with 4 trains running
Toro was maybe 30 also with both trains running
medusa was walk on with 3 trains running
RT with all 4 trains running and racing still  was almost walk on at points
RMT was about 15 min
off for lunch in the parking lot YUM ...
mom did happen to get onion rings from JR 's and boy was I happy .

Back to the park and off to see the dolphins
on to Blackbeards train which is now cycling twice around which is a really nice move.
SM was about 15-20 min .
Nitro NEWS !! 3rd train in the garage and maybe they are finishing putting it back together !!! 2 trains running about 20 min. wait.
Kids went on chiller red about 15 min wait.

have to say WW and BJL were packed!! Lots of families with small kids there all day . Good day in all except for one rude security guard hounding us when we entered to take the park rules . we told him we knew the new rules and were pass holders. We didn't need another set of rules we got them last visit  but he went on to tell us we were going to be escorted out of the park if we broke them . I guess my family looks like we would break them ??  I didn't get that.

I am so happy that Ka and Toro are running so good this year and RT is racing all four trains! That is awesome!

Overall sounds like a good day.  The part I like is that by this time last year things were already reversing.  This season it seems like there are constant improvements AND nice added touches.  I really think by summer we'll be looking at gadv running at 100% capacity for the first time in a long time.  As for the securuty issue, that is a tad overboard lol.  Glad you did'nt let it ruin your day though

Some of us coaster nutz can recite the SFI rule book better than the security guards .

I think the guards are doing that because they don't want anyone to say "But nobody told me the rules."
They did the same thing to me when I entered the park on the May 10th with my dad who is over 65!
We really looke like we were going to cause trouble  . 

I suppose that is really good on Six Flags behalf if that is the only complaint!
Just expect to get a new copy each time...no biggie.

Oh and I did get my dad on Kingda Ka front row and El Toro back row!!
He really like both rides and was amazed at how nice the park was.

Wow thats sweet.

My mom just got a Wii - I could've taken her to the park and played Wii haha.
