Today was kind of sad!

I saw an old friend of mine on Port Richmond Ave while waiting for the bus. I knew her in 8th and 9th grade. She was a troubled child. By 8th grade she smoke weed, had tatoos and was pregnant. She was 14, but looked 20! The father of her baby was 30! He thought she was older by the way she acted and looked, plus she lied! She had the baby (who's beautiful by the way) and a year later she dropped out of school. I then heard from her again a year later while walking up Caselton Ave, and she was kind of hiding. She said her mom took her baby away and she had some jobs under other people's names.

I never saw her until today! She came up to my brother and I and we started talking. Her son is 2 1/2 now and her other son is 6 months old. She told us alot (she was always a very open person) about what has happened. She moved back from East New York to Port Richmond, and is by herself. both of her kids are in foster care, though she goes and visits. Her mom moved away, and she's been selling drugs for a living, being she can't find a job. She claims she doesn't do them anymore, but this all she has for now because she can't get a job. My bus came and we said good by. But I couldn't help but think of how much this girl has been through, and how she hasn't made any of the right choices even when she had the chances.

This actually makes me think that my ex isn't as bad as it could be, though she's on her way.

Thats a shame dude. It really does make us all stop and think how awesome everything is that we have and how fortunate we are and it also just shows how easily it can all be screwed up!

I got a great idea for a reality show. You put a guy in the ozarks for 5 days. Then have him look for his truck with 2 "Deliverance" type hillbillies chasing his behind. I call it: Squeal or No Squeal.
