Ugh, on-board audio sucks! I want to hear the sounds of the coaster, not some stupid soundtrack.

On bizarro, I can't hear just about anything other than that roar, and "You can do it, Billy!" on the little hill before the corkscrews...

Fyi-clocks change sat night. Nothing like losing 3 hours from LA for the week and then 1 more for daylight savings! Uggghhhh

I've heard about that squirrel... It doesn't terrorize anyone, it just rides the ride.

Why would they ban it anyway??? Unless, they want the squirrel to pay admission every day it wants to ride...

Haha they should have times when the squirrel could ride. like 3:00-4:00 they turn the sound thing off

Well, they care about the safety of the riders... and also about the squirrel. And the only thing they could think up is banning the squirrel.

And if you think that is realistic, I have a bridge I will be happy to sell you.  I think it is in Brooklyn.

I'd allow at LEAST an hour and a half.  I've done that trip a few times! :)

Just did the trip last week :D

I'd say 2 hours based on normal traffic.  As for Magic Mountain, unless you get lucky with crowds, I'd get a flash pass.  Even with a VERY light crowd, Terminator had a 1 1/2 hour wait.  X2 and Tatsu weren't much better so I can't imagine a "busy" day at that park but I'd simply compare it to Great Adventure on a busy Saturday in July or August :).

Magic Mountain is very hit or miss with ride wait times. Sometimes is horrible, other times lots of coasters are walk-ons while others still have a 30-60 minute wait.

I would so get Flash Passes . I did my older daughters sweet 16 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Universal Florida a few years ago with a few of her friends but this time we are going to do a family trip and my daughter is going to bring some friends along . We all really want to go to Six Flags Magic mountain and Disney in CA . I am pretty sure we will need two cars and two rooms but it will be well worth it . Doing my research now to see if this is the way we are going or if she wants to do just friends at USF and IOA like her sister . Thanks for the tip !

Hurricane is fun, if it has been kept up. It is a small family ride.

There isn't much else to do at Dania...and you could easily spend a happy hour there.  Unless you just love family entertainment centers...then you could spend two.

Small Family ride? When that thing is running well, it's an airtime monster and is about the size of Phoenix. Night rides in the back seat with a full train can be top-ten material. If the train is empty, Rob and I found that it loses a lot of the airtime though. So try to go when there will be plenty of people there to fill the train (if you can).

How about one of these thru the safari or between HH and the Theme Park.
