Has the hotel been scrapped for 2007 or is it still a go?

Haven't I've seen this question before?  Yes as of now.

Certainly not for 2007, as Shapiro said 'core operation' is our focus right now, but I wouldn't lose sight of this idea for the future.

From what I remember, when the new regime was talking about the hotel it is shelved indefinitely.  It will only become reality if an independent contractor wants to take up the task of running said hotel.  Something like Great Wolf does.

But lets not forget the new Hilton Hotel being built in Hamilton, NJ which is 15 minutes west of Gadv right off I-195. For now, I think thats the best thing for Gadv even though they have no affiliation. The closest to Gadv before this new hotel was either East Windsor or Bordentown.

When I was speaking with a certain person at the park one day, I was told point blank - We need to FIX too many things right now to be even considering a hotel at this time and it is therefore shelved indefinately.  I was also told that Shapiro thought they were out of their minds for not including a indoor waterpark and that he wants nothing to do with it if they can't sustain year round operation.

IMO, I see this coming back around in 2-3 years when the overhaul is complete.  (will it ever be complete?)
